You will be working with a growing Victorian based civil contractor, that has been in operation for over 20 years, working for both private and public sector clients. They are a respected player in the Victorian market and as such have seen strong growth as the industry has grown in recent years.
Due to the growth of the business and workload, they are now in search of a Project Manager to join their team, based in the western suburbs of Melbourne. You will work across a spectrum of market sectors including major road and rail projects, local govt. infrastructure, water, civil for commercial, civil structures, and earthworks.
The role will see you work closely with senior management in assessing and selecting projects to tender, and managing the full project estimation process. You will have experience in at least one (but preferably multiple) of the transport infrastructure, water, civil structures or earthworks sectors. This role is ideally suited to a project manager or experienced project engineer with a tier three or civil subcontractor background, however if you are currently in the tier one or two sector and are looking to make a change, you will still be strongly considered if you have had experience with managing client relationships and have strong commercial acumen. Whilst the delivery component of this role is the number one priority, pre-contract experience will be highly regarded.
You will have a strong work ethic and a desire to achieve strong outcomes for the business, which will lead to personal reward. You will be a strong communicator (both verbally and written)and have well developed time management skills.
What's in it for you?
Of course, you will be rewarded with a strong salary package (which has been designed to attract top talent) but what you'll really love is the opportunity to join a growing company with a strong history, great reputation, solid pipeline with established clients, and a close-knit team. This opportunity is one with genuine career growth potential.
