You will be working with one of the busiest local contractors in Victoria who are now starting to make a splash interstate, with a wide variety of projects across Roads, Rail, Renewables, Water and Earthworks. With strong growth in the business and a strong pipeline of work moving forward, you will be joining a strong team which is driven to deliver projects well - safely, on time and on budget.
  
The role
A fantastic opportunity has been created for a driven Senior Project Engineer to join this busy civil contractor as they continue to grow and expand their capabilities. You will be working with a driven team of engineers, with some of the best and brightest in the industry in senior management to support you and to help you continue to develop your skillset. You will also play a key role in the development of site and project engineers underneath you, supporting their career development.
  
You will have the opportunity to tackle a variety of projects, and further develop your skill set both technically and as a leader. As the business continues to grow, this will open up genuine career advancement opportunities for you.
  
You will need
To be successful you will be a degree qualified civil engineer (or similar), with at least 6 years’ experience in civil construction. You will ideally have experience in delivering renewable energy projects, but will definitely have experience in at least one of the transport infrastructure, bulk earthworks or renewable energy sectors.
  
As important as the qualifications and experience (if not more so) is your attitude. You will be driven by nature, enjoy working within a high performing team, and be committed to continuous improvement. You will likely be eager to progress your career, but will also understand that to do that will require you to put in the work, and to develop a well-rounded skillset. You will be driven, and enthusiastic by nature, always striving to achieve the best result possible for yourself and your team.
